Get Ireland Online
This course is aimed at individuals who wish to get started with technology and need some assistance. The course runs on day per week for 2 hours for 3 weeks. This course is subsidised by the State under the Get Ireland on Line Scheme so the cost to you is a nominal fee of €20 per person. This course is great value for money, and is a great starting point for anybody who would like to get started with IT.
The content is developed around the following areas –
- Email, Internet and communications devices (skype, web-cams, smart phones, etc.)
- Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google)
- Health and Data Protection
- E-Government Services (e.g. online renewal of car tax)
- Digital Photography
- Introduction to online Banking
- Scope of Computer Applications
