Diploma in Education Practice: ICT Skills,
Comprising Education Principles and Practice and Education Practice: ICT Skills by EDI formerly the JEB Teacher’s Diploma course in ICT 
This highly prestigious Diploma in Information Communication Technology is aimed at those wishing to pursue a career as an IT Teacher.  This qualification will enable those who want to teach to gain an introductory educational qualification, provides awards for teaching ICT and to further the development of teachers and those who support learning in applying the use of technology in their teaching or training area.

Structure of the course
The course takes the format of a 16 week part time course, Saturday 11:00-17:00.  Participants build an examinable portfolio of work (7 assignments, and complete 2 written exams and in addition complete up to 4 extra teaching practice sessions.  In order to meeting with the workload of this course of study we would suggest that students allocate circa 8-10 hours per week outside of classroom time in order to complete the required assignments.
