Course Audience
This course is aimed at beginners who wish to develop their own site or work with existing sites but have little or no experience with HTML or CSS. We will bring participants from a basic understanding to an intermediate skill level where you shall be comfortable using various techniques in HTML (Hyper Text Mark-Up Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).

- Learning to write HTML from scratch using Notepad++.
- Learning to write CSS and integrate it with your HTML
- A brief introduction to Javascript using the jQuery framework
- A brief introduction to PHP
- WordPress the World’s most popular content management system

What we offer Certification
Our course offers a comprehensive introduction to HTML, CSS, and WordPress. On successful completion of the course participants may choose to avail of Certification, FETAC – Level 5. In order to meet the criteria for FETAC certification participants are required to complete a portfolio of work set out by our tutors and to complete a project of their own design. This body of work is assessed by ourselves in accordance with FETAC guidelines and subsequently validated by FETAC, successful completion results in certification at Level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework.

Fees
The fee for this course is €395per person, this includes tuition, documentation, each participant will have access to an individual workstation on the course with all required software and tools. If participants wish to pursue certification there is an additional administration charge of €50 per person.
